At our initial consultation with the customer, we established their vision for their new bathroom and following a measure up and our guidance, we translated this into a 3D CAD drawing and talked them through the process of the renovation.
At the commencement of all projects, we lay protective flooring throughout the house leading up to the bathroom where our team will be working.
Stage one was to strip out the existing bathroom and remove all of the old bathroom fixtures and fittings. Our team was then ready to complete the first fix which involved installing all the necessary pipework and plumbing.
The existing floor boards were removed and replaced with 25mm Plywood. This ensured a rigid base to begin tiling on.
The frosted windows limit the amount of natural light from entering the bathroom. Therefore, to combat the limited natural lighting in the room, we installed natural light LED strips in the recesses, as well as installing spotlights to create a bright and well-lit space.
The LED lighting creates a mellow, warm feel, a great lighting option for late-night bathroom trips.
By bringing the wall forward to conceal the plumbing pipework, we were able to utilize the spare space to install a few useful recessed shelving units for storage for all the unsightly bathroom clutter.
To complete the calm and warming ambiance of the room, we used natural oak furniture and finished the look with these luxury hexagonal patterned tiles.
